Position: COST National Coordinator and member of the Core Group; Leader of WG1 ‘Multilingual Glossary of Neology’; Participating member of WG2, WG3, WG4

Main responsibilities and tasks carried out:

  • General coordination: leading WG1, fostering collaboration among members, ensuring the organisation of meetings and the achievement of established goals.

  • Strategic planning: defining objectives and project milestones, structuring activities ranging from the compilation of specialised corpora to the editing and validation of concepts and lexicographic entries.

  • Collaboration with partners: facilitating exchange among specialists from different countries and fields of expertise, promoting linguistic and methodological diversity in the glossary.

  • Supervision of subtasks: monitoring specific activities, such as the serialisation of NeoVoc in TBX using FAIRterm 2.0, and coordinating with other leaders to ensure consistency in data representation and presentation.

  • Methodology development: implementing strategies to refine linguistic and conceptual analysis, including the distinction between monolexical and polylexical terms.

  • Editing and validation: leading the validation process of terms and multilingual glossaries, ensuring terminological accuracy and consistency across the languages involved.

  • Term validation: taking part in the validation of terms.

  • Dissemination of results: presenting WG1’s progress at scientific events and ENEOLI general meetings, enhancing the visibility of the results achieved.
